WHAT IS CBD

CANNABINOID, AKA CBD

CBD is a type of cannabinoid – an extractable compound found in the cannabis plant. Researchers have been studying the possible therapeutic effects of CBD and ways to utilise these benefits.

INGESTIBLE OIL

CBD Oils are made by adding concentrated CBD into ingestible oils. The level of CBD concentration can be adjusted to determine dosage. For the most part there is still a lot of confusion in the general public about what is CBD and how does it help the human body.

While research indicates that Cannabidiol (CBD) can have certain health benefits, responsible practitioners will always advise customers to seek advice from a fully trained medical professional.

HOW CBD WORKS

All cannabinoids, including CBD, act on receptors found in all mammals. These receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system. Clinical trials are currently looking into the effect of CBD on the body. So far the findings that we can legally share with you are the discovery of 2 main receptors in our bodies (see diagram below). Both hemp and marijuana belong to the same plant family, cannabis sativa, but they are very different in their properties:
